Colonial Restoration studio repairing missing veneers. Take a piece of blue tape, place it over the prepared area where the veneer is missing. Crease the edges of the veneer. Then cut the area out with a razor blade. Then match the replacement veneer grain to the surrounding area. Place the blue tape over the veneer and cut the your pattern out.
Depending on the type of original glue used adhere the new piece of veneer.
